boring
that's all you'll be known for
not for the soft flavour that brighten's the cake
not for the wars waged in your honor
not even for the bloom of a beautiful flower
you are default
you are plain

the white to their colour
the blank to thier painting
you are the last option
they decided what you are
they decided you are to be forgotten
they decided there's nothing you can do to prove yourself
what did you do to deserve this?
do you deserve this?

i hope someone can see your colour like i do
i hope someone carries on your thoughts and dreams
because i care about you
you're not alone
you don't need to prove it to anyone
thier recognition will not make you taste any sweeter
thier words can not take away the sun or the rain
we can be vanilla together
it's going to be okay
